Your role
We are looking for a proactive and results‑driven Sales Executive to manage and grow our optical business. Ideal candidates have a background in optometry or as an optician and at least three years’ experience in the optical industry. The role focuses on building client relationships, expanding distribution, achieving sales and collection targets, conducting market research, generating leads, and providing feedback on market and competitor activities. Excellent communication, merchandising expertise and the ability to travel for client meetings are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Call plan
- Service all accounts in an assigned territory consistently as per approved routing and complete all assigned calls.
- Provide quality customer service and maintain excellent trade relationships.
- Continuously strive to extend distribution for Luxottica products to all accounts.
Client Relationships
Build constructive relationships with Merchandise Managers, Store Managers and associates.Act as a brand point of reference for client feedback and needs.Account Portfolio Responsibility
Build new distribution and submit monthly reports to the Field Sales Manager.Ensure sufficient stock to avoid out‑of‑stock situations and achieve sales objectives.Control credit accounts and collect all outstanding amounts according to company policies.Maintain brand awareness through POS materials and brand guidelines.Propose new account openings and advise HQ on account closures.Reporting
Achieve all sales, distribution and collection targets.Prepare and present monthly sales reports and market feedback during quarterly meetings.Implement Luxottica trade programmes and activities per guidelines.Provide timely feedback on customer and competitor activities.Participate in all sales meetings and collection releases.Exhibit sincerity, honesty and reliability.Maintain an open, active mindset and continuously improve skills.Main Responsibilities
Market research : identify new business opportunities and develop growth strategies.Lead generation : identify potential clients and maintain a focused database.Client relationship management : build and sustain relationships, ensuring client satisfaction.Interaction Network
Internal – Sales Department : coordinate sales strategies and share leads.Internal – Customer Service Department : address client issues and gather feedback.External – Clients and Prospects : engage to drive sales growth.External – Industry Associations : stay informed on trends and opportunities.External – Competitors : monitor activities for strategic adjustments.Technical Skills & Candidate Profile
Educational background in Optician or Optometry.At least three years of experience in the optical industry.Strong problem‑solving skills.Experience in business development or sales within this sector.Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.Willingness to travel for client meetings and events.Benefits
