About the Job

The individual will provide leadership to the IT Infrastructure Projects Delivery capability of Great Eastern. The individual will be part of the core team that will drive the IT Infrastructure strategy and execution of projects in traditional, cloud, and hybrid environments. The individual will be assigned a portfolio of Infrastructure projects, ensuring successful and timely delivery of the projects under the Infrastructure function. The individual will require to enforce good project management and compliance to Great Eastern IT project governance and processes.

• Provides leadership to Infra Project Department which includes oversee Infra Project Managers.
• In-charge for Infrastructure projects, manage and control progress for ongoing projects. Deliver projects within scope, qualities, timelines and allocated resources.
• Manages internal business and other stakeholders to understand and analyse business requirements; and translate business IT requirements to technical requirements.
• Work out full-scaled and precise proposal with technical solution team and presentation to management for approval.
• Work with various governance functions and stakeholders within Great Eastern organization in the areas of project risks management and procurements.
• Coordinates and communicates resource; and define clear roles with all project resources.
• Handles and manages major projects as Project Manager role.
• Manage people in term of their strengths, weaknesses, expectations, and workload balance. This includes identifying training and development needs, and providing performance management to the team.
• Ensure all projects follows and comply with PMO processes.
• Continuously strive to improve and innovate the current
• Provide accurate and comprehensive status of projects.
• Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
• Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
• Highlights any potential concerns / risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.
