Key Responsibilities :
- Coordinate and monitor all international and domestic freight movements (air, sea, and / or land).
- Prepare and process shipping documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, etc.
- Liaise with shipping lines, airlines, freight agents, and customs brokers.
- Ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations and customs requirements.
- Track and monitor shipments, providing updates to clients and addressing delays or issues.
- Manage customer queries and provide excellent service related to freight forwarding activities.
- Negotiate rates with carriers and vendors to optimize costs.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure timely billing and cost control.
- Support the sales team with rate quotations and service offerings.
- Collaborate with warehousing and distribution teams to ensure efficient logistics operations.
Qualifications and Skills :
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Business, or related field.2+ years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain operations.Strong understanding of international shipping procedures, Incoterms, and customs regulations.Familiarity with freight forwarding software and ERP systems.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).Preferred :
Knowledge of both import and export procedures.Experience with air and sea freight handling.Familiarity with HS codes, tariff classifications, and trade compliance issues.Job Type : Full-time
