Job Scope & Responsibilities
1. Training & Learning
- Learn to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documents.
- Understand machining processes, materials, and tolerances.
- Familiarize with CNC machine tools (lathe, turning, etc.).
- Study CNC programming basics.
2. Machine Operation Support
Assist in setting up CNC machines under supervision.Load / unload raw materials, workpieces, and cutting tools.Observe and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).Carry out basic measurements and inspections with calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.3. Production Assistance
Support experienced machinists in producing precision parts.Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions.Perform simple adjustments to feeds, speeds, or offsets as instructed.Ensure finished parts meet required specifications and quality standards.4. Maintenance & Safety
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the machine and work area.Conduct basic machine maintenance (lubrication, cleaning, tool changes).Follow all workplace safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment (PPE).5. Growth & Development
Progressively learn CNC programming and setup independently.Gain skills to operate multiple machines and perform more complex tasks.Work towards becoming a fully qualified CNC Machinist.
