IT ASSISTANT

Install, maintain hardware and software components for both the head office and the site office computers.

Set up workstations, including computers and necessary peripheral devices such as routers and printers.

Provide support for Windows-based PCs and hardware peripherals, including regular updates for antivirus software.

Install, configure, diagnose, and troubleshoot software and hardware functions following specifications.

Develop and maintain local networks to optimise performance.

Ensure the security and privacy of networks and computer systems.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience in computer hardware and software installation, Configuration, troubleshooting networking equipment, wireless (Wi‑Fi) equipment, computers, servers and peripherals.
• Knowledge of troubleshooting networking, Microsoft, LAN, Internet, TCP / IP.
• A team‑oriented attitude to assist colleagues and other departments with technical issues.
