Job Description

Lead and manage the end-to-end recruitment and selection process for all non-academic positions, providing guidance and support to line managers to ensure effective hiring decisions aligned with our recruitment policies.

Oversee the onboarding and induction process for non-academic staff, ensuring completion of pre-employment screenings to safeguard student well-being.

Act as the custodian of staff-related policies and the employee handbook, conducting regular reviews to ensure compliance with employment legislation and best practices.

Offer expert advice and guidance to line managers on staff grievances and disciplinary procedures, ensuring fair and consistent handling of these matters.

Supervise the implementation of the annual staff appraisal and performance management process for non-academic staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and execute an annual training plan for non-academic staff that aligns with business needs and objectives.

Work closely with the Director of Human Resources to establish succession and talent management processes for non-academic staff.

Oversee the review of pay and benefits, collecting external data to inform decisions and collaborating with the Finance Manager to ensure accurate costing of proposals.

Provide input and guidance on pay and benefits matters as needed.

Efficiently handle all HR administration tasks, ensuring professionalism and accuracy in areas such as staff and student-related insurance policies and staff medical benefits.

Undertake additional reasonable duties as assigned by the Director of Human Resources.
