Mandarin Speaking CSA Development Engineer(Engineering Industry)

Job descriptionStrong skills in interpreting and resolving CSA construction drawings. Experience handling material submissions, RFIs (Request for Information), and ITP (Inspection and Test Plan) documentation. Familiar with construction sequencing, on-site problem-solving, and practical buildability considerations. Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (especially Excel), with competency in project documentation tools. Proactive, resourceful, and solution-driven mindset. Clear communication skills to support effective cross-functional coordination (e.g., with M&E, consultants, and subcontractors). Capable of prioritizing tasks and managing workloads independently while meeting deadlines. Strong attention to detail and practical judgment based on real-world site conditions. Review tender drawings, specifications, and BOQs to identify scope coverage, discrepancies, and omissions. Detect and flag inconsistencies between drawings and BOQ, including undocumented but implied scope. Provide technical clarification supporting evaluating vendor / subcontractor quotations. Participate in value engineering discussions to reduce cost while maintaining compliance. Assist in compiling technical submissions and RFI clarifications during the bidding process Serve as HQ technical support for site teams, especially for CSA scope. Review IFC drawings and manage RFIs to resolve design issues and discrepancies. Propose construction and termination detailingfor unclear or incomplete sections. Maintain drawing registers, track revisions, and distribute updates to site. Prepare and submit material approvals, QA / QC documentation, and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs). Liaise with consultants and internal teams to close technical queriesraised from site. Conduct occasional site visitsto better understand ground issues and ensure practical support alignment Be part of a fast-growing main contractor focused on high-impact industrial sector projects (factories, warehouses, plants). Apply your site experience in a strategic support role bridging design and execution. - Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Able to speak in English
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on site experience in CSA works for industrial construction projects.
- Prior experience with main contractors, including involvement in site operations, technical detailing, and drawing coordination.
