Job descriptionProficient in interpreting M&E drawings (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, electrical, ELV systems). Experienced in preparing and managing technical submissions, RFIs, and ITPs. Familiar with mechanical and electrical systems used in industrial facilities. Skilled in A AutoCAD, MS Office, and project documentation platforms. Strong technical judgment and attention to detail. Proactive and capable of resolving technical challenges independently. Good communication and coordination skills across disciplines. Able to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines. Review tender drawings, BOQs, and specifications to identify M&E scope completeness, omissions, and discrepancies. Highlight missing or implied works not reflected in the BOQ. Provide input for technical clarifications to clients, consultants, and subcontractors. Assist in quotation review and evaluation of M&E vendors and suppliers. Participate in v value engineering to optimize design and reduce selling cost while maintaining compliance. Support the preparation of technical submission documents for tender. Act as HQ-based technical support for M&E-related site issues. Review and coordinate IFC drawings, manage RFIs, and resolve discrepancies with consultants. Provide detailing solutions for incomplete or unclear design areas. Manage drawing registers and ensure latest revisions are communicated to site teams. Prepare and coordinate material submissions, shop drawings, and QA / QC documents, including Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs). Liaise with site personnel to troubleshoot issues and ensure compliance with approved designs and specifications. Conduct occasional site visits to understand on-ground progress and challenges to inform HQ support effectively Contribute to large scale industrial construction projects as part of an experienced HQ support team. - Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Able to speak in English
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on site experience in M&E scope within industrial construction projects.
- Experience with main contractor roles, subcontractor coordination, and technical detailing
