Position Summary
The Senior Logistics Executive manages and oversees logistics operations, ensuring timely delivery and efficient movement of goods. This role involves coordinating with suppliers, customers, and internal teams, while ensuring compliance with customs and regulatory requirements. The position includes
managing a high-performing team, controlling logistics costs, and identifying cost-saving opportunities. Additionally, the Senior Logistics Executive handles logistics performance reports, participates in audits, and ensures continuous process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the logistics operations, ensuring smooth operations and timely delivery of products.
2. To be involved in strategic planning, coordination, and execution to ensure the timely movement of goods from suppliers to customers.
3. Overseeing the daily activities of team members to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
4. Providing regular feedback, coaching, and performance evaluations to team members to help them improve and grow professionally.
5. Manage, coach and develop a high performing team that meets agreed objectives and delivers best practice results, added value and continuous improvements.
6. Liaise closely with Customs authorities for resolving all matters related to export processes, report submissions, etc.
7. Ensure documentation accuracy for import / export declaration and clearance while complying with all the Customs and LMW license regulations.
8. Plan, manage and evaluate logistics operations liaising with internal team, suppliers, logistics providers, transportation companies and customers.
9. Monitoring and controlling logistics costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and implementing strategies to improve cost-effectiveness while maintaining service quality.
10. Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure all orders are completed and ready for shipment as per planned schedule.
11. Develop and maintain strong relationships with all connected with the logistics process.
12. Generating reports on logistics performance metrics, analyzing data to identify trends and areas forimprovement.
13. Responsible to participate and handle LMW audit.
14. Understand on the requirements for a QMS, including documented information, planning and determining process interactions.
15. Any others task assigned by the HOD from time to time.
Job Requirements :
1. Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
2. At least 5 years of relevant experience in logistics and supply chain management.
3. Strong knowledge of import / export regulations, customs clearance, and LMW license requirements.
4. Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and lead a team.
6. Proficient in logistics management software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
7. Ability to manage costs, optimize processes, and drive continuous improvement.
8. Experience in handling audits and logistics performance analysis.
9. Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
10.Possess own transportation.
