Patient Care
- Register and prepare patients for consultation or treatment.
- Perform vital signs check (BP, pulse, temperature, weight, etc.).
- Administer medication and injections as prescribed by doctors.
- Assist in minor procedures (e.g., dressing, wound care, nebulizer, ECG, ultrasound prep).
- Provide first aid and emergency support when required.
- Educate patients on medication usage and post-treatment care.
Clinical Operations
Prepare and clean treatment rooms before and after use.Maintain stock of medicines and medical supplies; ensure proper storage.Ensure all medical instruments are sterilized and in working condition.Manage waste disposal following clinical SOPs.Support smooth patient flow between registration, doctor, and pharmacy.Administrative / Documentation
Record patient data accurately in the system (e.g., DataMed or similar).Handle patient reports, medical leave certificates, and claims forms.Follow clinic’s documentation and confidentiality policies.Participate in audits and maintain proper records.Teamwork & Professionalism
Work closely with doctors and other healthcare staff.Maintain a professional and courteous attitude toward patients and colleagues.Attend training sessions, staff meetings, and continuous professional development (CPD).Follow all safety and infection control procedures.Requirements
Diploma in Nursing / Medical Assistant or equivalent.Registered with Nursing Board Malaysia / Medical Assistant Board (LJM) .Valid Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) .Minimum 1 year of working experience in a clinic or hospital (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).Good communication and teamwork skills.Able to work on shift / weekend / public holidays .Unlock job insights
