Human Resource Intern cum Personal Assistant to Managing Director

Job descriptionManage the Managing Director's daily schedule, meetings, and appointments. Prepare reports, presentations, and meeting notes as required. Handle correspondence, emails, and calls on behalf of the Managing Director. Provide administrative support including travel arrangements, event coordination, and filing. Act as liaison between the Managing Director and internal / external stakeholders. Currently pursuing a degree / diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or related fields. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent communication (English & Malay) and interpersonal skills. High level of discretion, professionalism, and integrity. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiar with Google Workspace. Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Willing to commit for a minimum of 6 months. Hands-on exposure to HR practices in a fast-paced media company. Direct mentorship from the Managing Director. Opportunity to be involved in both corporate and creative industries. Monthly internship allowance. Letter of recommendation upon successful completion of internship. Rush Media is a fast-growing media and consultancy company specializing in digital content, data analytics, influencer management, corporate consulting, and creative production. We are expanding our team and looking for a driven and adaptable Human Resource Intern cum Personal Assistant to support both HR functions and the Managing Director's daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resource (HR) Functions :
- Assist in recruitment processes : job postings, shortlisting, interview coordination.
- Support onboarding of new hires, including documentation and orientation.
- Maintain and update employee records, attendance, and HR databases.
- Assist in developing HR policies, SOPs, and training programs.
- Support staff engagement activities, team-building events, and townhalls.
Personal Assistant (PA) Functions :
