Position Summary
This role is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the People Department (HR). People Executive coordinates implementation of services, policies, and programs through People staff and assists and advises company managers about People (HR) issues. Tasks involve administration of the human resources policies, procedures and driving any initiatives from LLMR / Merlin. You will carry out responsibilities in the following functional areas assigned : Departmental development, Human Resources Management System (HRMS), HR Operations and Administration, Compensation & Benefits, Recruitment and other related areas..
Responsibilities
PEOPLE (HR) OPERATIONS
- Process people movement involving administrative for new joiner registration, separation, transfer and any other movement in the resort.
- Data entry in the HRMS system as assigned including personal data updates, employment status etc accurately.
- Maintaining the accuracy of data in the HRMS system.
- Compile and prepare pre-payroll process including ensuring all Personal Actions Forms are raised for staffs movement.
- Responsible to prepare letter for employees on various matters.
- Responsible to administer attendance and clock in / out system.
- Direct administration of Personal Files for rank and files and as assigned ensuring documents are filed according to the checklist.
- Responsible to administer employees' medical / insurance enrolment / deletion, medical cards and claims.
- Process employee's in-park benefits request.
- Responsible to prepare comprehensive weekly / monthly report as assigned.
Provide guidance and assistance to compensation and benefits enquiries from the employees or any other enquiries / matters related to their employment with LLMR.
Responsible in adhering to confidentiality of employees' records, data and information in accordance to PDPA Act.
Maintaining confidentiality within the organization and protect any information that classified as confidential.Ensure the effective administration of employee records and files in line with Merlin policy and Malaysia Labor Law.Providing research and statistical information to staff in collecting, preparing and analyzing the information for use in implementation of procedures and policies.Facilitating actions to resolve the employee issues and escalating them to appropriate management team.Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.Completes special projects by clarifying project objective; setting timetables and schedules; conducting research; developing and organizing information; fulfilling transactions.Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.PEOPLE (HR) GENERAL
Provide assistance in participating and execution of Employee Engagement strategies / initiatives that supports the needs of the business.Participate in events or activities organization including involvement as Clubhouse committees, recruitment fair, campaigns for People (HR) initiatives etc.Provide the necessary support in other People (HR) functions as assigned.To maintain all notice boards to ensure information is current and updated.Qualifications
Minimum a Diploma, Advanced / Higher / Graduate Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration or Equivalent.Minimum 1 years of progressive experience as HR Generalist.Strong administrative, organizational and follow up skill.Resourceful and ability to resolve non-complex problems / situations independently.Attention to details and ability to deliver quality work.Good command of English & Bahasa Malaysia verbal and non-verbal.Competent in using Microsoft Applications such as Words, Excel and Powerpoint.Experienced in using HRMS system.Experienced with multi-tasking environment.Adaptable in a diverse culture environment.Being experienced in working in an environment that requires the ability to communicate with people of different levels and embracing the team-work spirit.About The Benefits
