You will play an important role to :
- Assess all aspect of technical underwriting, pricing and policy wordings review, survey requirement / risk improvements inclusive of Risk Referrals approval recommendation on all new and renewals for fire & Miscellaneous class of insurances.
- Assist in providing professional technical advices and superb service delivery, guidance and support to Business Units and Branch personnel in all aspects of fire underwriting management & operations.
- Work closely with Risk Survey Department, Claims Department and Business Units to combat adverse trends by evaluating survey reports / adjuster reports, loss ratio, claims trends. Providing recommendation on risk improvements measures whenever possible.
- Work closely with IT and Management Information department for analytical reports. Assist to analyse the various Fire statistics and recommend for areas of improvement to support sustainability.
- Assist in reviewing underwriting guidelines or procedures periodically for continually improvements and adaption to market changes.
- Support and strengthen department's internal controls, administrative systems, procedures and work processes. To ensure full compliance to the Company's policies & procedures and upholding corporate governance.
- Assist in performing market research, competitors analysis and development works in tandem with the prevailing market needs and formulate profitable or sellable fire insurance products.
Job Requirements :
Degree in Insurance or related disciplines.Minimum 1 - 2 years experience.Good communication skills, written and spoken.Good interpersonal skills.Detailed oriented with analytical skills.Good planning and organization skills.Initiative in job responsibilities.Team player and interested to learn new things.Benefits : -
