Penerangan pekerjaanCreate Purchase Orders and Material Master. Manage shipment arrangements from issuance of Purchase Orders to arrival at warehouse / site. Degree in Business Administration / Supply Chain or any related field. At least 5 years of experience in purchasing operations will be preferred. Mandarin proficiency (written / spoken) is essential for liaising with China / Taiwan based suppliers. Strong analytical, communication skills & attention to details. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities & meet deadlines. Good knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
Responsibilities
- Source, negotiate, and manage suppliers to secure the best pricing, terms, and timely delivery of materials.
- Ensure purchased items comply with Malaysian standards and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and submit applications to : SIRIM (product certification, testing reports, labeling requirements); Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) Certificate of Approval (COA) for electrical products; Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) device certifications.
- Ensure timely renewal and tracking of all relevant certificates and licenses.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation for all regulatory submissions and approvals.
- Liaise with testing labs, consultants, and government officials where required.
- Support internal and external audits related to product compliance and import controls.
