Quality Assurance & Halal Executive

Penerangan pekerjaanMaintain FSSC 22000 and food safety management system requirements across logistics operations. Conduct internal audits, inspections, and monitoring to ensure compliance. Investigate product complaints, discrepancies, or non-conformities and implement corrective / preventive actions (CAPA). Review and update SOPs, manuals, and operational procedures. Maintain accurate document control for all QA and halal records. Monitor room and product temperatures, ensuring cold chain integrity and compliance with storage requirements. Maintain halal records and documentation for audit purposes. Coordinate with halal certification bodies for inspections and compliance. Support staff training on halal handling and segregation procedures. Ensure all processes comply with halal certification requirements. Support process validations, new product handling procedures, and operational improvements. Collaborate with operational and supply chain teams to ensure quality and halal compliance in daily activities. Participate in management reviews and provide updates on QA and halal performance. Strong knowledge of FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, HACCP, and GWP standards. Experience conducting internal audits, inspections, and corrective / preventive actions (CAPA). Proficient in quality documentation management (SOPs, manuals, audit reports). Knowledge of halal certification requirements and ability to maintain halal compliance in logistics operations. Understanding of cold chain management, product handling, and storage practices to prevent contamination. Ability to analyze data from temperature logs, audit results, and quality metrics to ensure compliance. Familiarity with process validation, risk assessment, and continuous improvement methodologies. Experience in conducting staff training on food safety, quality, and halal procedures. Attention to detail and analytical thinking. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration. Problem-solving and decision-making skills in quality and compliance matters. High level of integrity, accountability, and compliance orientation. Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with FSSC 22000 and Halal requirements in all operational activities
- Approve quality and halal documentation and procedures before implementation.
- Identify non-conformities in logistics processes and recommend corrective actions.
- Make decisions on handling non-compliant products in consultation with QA Manager.
- Assist in risk assessments related to product safety and halal integrity.
