Overview

Managing raw material purchases and deliveries for Kajang / Subang plants. This includes :

  • Monitoring plan orders and issuing purchase orders for needed materials.
  • Daily communication with packaging material suppliers to guarantee on-time deliveries that meet production needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Purchasing, Assistant Manager to follow up on deliveries daily and update Planning Team on any delays
  • Issue PO for ordering based on plan order requirement for Kajang / Subang plant
  • Issue Manual PO for ordering based on HOD approval (if any)
  • Monitor deliveries follow up of raw materials
  • General Administrative tasks including filing and shipping documentation arrangement
  • Handle quality and delivery matters raised by Quality Control or Warehouse Team
  • Perform bulk checking whenever adjustments are made by Planner (if any)
  • Monitor inventory ageing material list monthly
  • Prepare Customs Documentation for monthly reporting submission and apply / renewal of existing exemption facilities including license application

    • Basic Requirement

  • Minimum a Bachelor\'s Degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain or equivalent
  • Sound and good knowledge in Microsoft Excel
  • Good command of communication skills especially in negotiation skills

    • Experience

  • At least 3-5 years\' working experience in Purchasing
  • Experience in planning for MRP fulfillment
  • Experience in SAP system and MIDA / SST / Customs related are an added advantage
