Finance Manager

Responsibilities

Prepare and analyse financial reports, forecasts, and statements to inform management decisions.

Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's goals.

Monitor cash flow and optimise the company’s financial resources.

Establish and implement short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.

Oversee daily operations of the finance department.

Conduct financial analysis to evaluate risks and opportunities.

Manage the preparation of all financial reports and maintain compliance with financial regulations and standards.

Provide insights into business performance and industry trends.

Represent the company in dealings with banks, auditors, tax authorities, and government agencies.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting; or professional qualification (e.g. CFA / CPA / CIMA) is preferred.

At least 5 years of experience in financial management and accounting, ideally in the private equity sector.

Proven experience as a Financial Manager or in a similar role within the finance sector, ideally in the private equity sector.

Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modelling and forecasting.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of presenting complex financial information clearly.

Proven leadership skills and the ability to foster a team-oriented environment.

Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements in the finance industry.

Extensive experience in financial forecasting and financial risk management.

Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).

Detail-oriented and analytical.
