Senior Product Manager

Penerangan pekerjaanDefine and drive the product vision and long-term strategy aligned with business goals and market opportunities. Conduct competitive analysis, identify market trends, and translate insights into a compelling product roadmap. Identify target user segments and define go-to-market strategies in collaboration with sales and marketing teams. Manage the product backlog, prioritize features and user stories based on business impact, and ensure timely delivery. Write clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria for the development team. Lead Agile activities (sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) and ensure alignment with stakeholders. Gather, analyse, and document business and technical requirements from internal and external stakeholders. Define detailed functional specifications and ensure alignment with compliance, domain regulations, and user needs. Liaise with engineering, UI / UX, compliance, operations, and customer support teams to drive successful product delivery. Act as a key point of contact for clients and business stakeholders, managing expectations and delivering clear communication. Run experiments, gather user feedback, and use data to iterate on product direction. Collaborate with QA teams to define test strategies and support validation of product features. Apply deep knowledge of digital payments, card issuing / acquiring, card schemes (e.g., VISA, Mastercard), fraud management, 3D Secure, and payment gateways. Ensure products comply with financial regulations and industry standards such as PCI-DSS, KYC / AML, and local banking regulations. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of product managers or associate PMs, fostering a culture of ownership, innovation, and continuous learning. Provide clear direction, coaching, and regular performance feedback to support team growth and career development. Align team objectives with company goals, ensuring consistent execution across product lines and supporting cross-functional collaboration at scale. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration or a related field. Professional Qualification (Optional) : Agile Project Management Framework Professional Scrum Master Min years of experience 10 years' experience in Product Management / Software Engineering / Quality Assurance Analyst / Business Analysis / Project Management in IT-related / Fintech industry with 5 years as a lead. Fintech, Banking, Financial Institutions, Cards & Payments, and IT industry. Product Development, Software Development, Software Testing methodology and principles, Business Analysis, and Project Management. Experience going through a full product lifecycle, integrating customer feedback into product requirements, driving prioritization and pre / post-launch execution. Demonstrable success in formulating product strategy & launching new products / features with clear impact. Proven track record of translating business requirements into successful product solutions. Experience working in Agile development environments and leading cross-functional teams. Modern tech stack and Agile development methodologies. Proficiency in product management and Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Miro, Figma). At least 3 years of experience in releasing software products within a CI / CD environment. A minimum of 1 year of experience working with cloud services, such as AWS (Amazon Web Services) or Azure. Strong logical / analytical thinking, independent, organized, creative and able to work in a fast-paced environment, excellent problem-solving skills. Collaborative; Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills. Strong business acumen, customer-focused, team and results-oriented. Data-driven; analyzing complex, large-scale data sets and making decisions based on data. Working in a technical environment with a broad, cross-functional team; previous Software Engineering and Quality Assurance Analyst, Business Analyst experience is an added advantage. Delivering technical and non-technical presentations. Gathering requirements across diverse areas and users and converting and developing them into a product solution. Technical experience with analytical tools, methodologies, and product / system design. Highly comfortable and adaptable in a semi-structured environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a team environment. Strong understanding of product management, business analysis, testing methodologies and principles (is a plus). Familiar with programming languages and / or SQL queries is an added advantage. Proven ability to lead and mentor product managers or cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. Strong strategic thinking and the ability to define and align product vision with overall business objectives. Experience in setting product standards, road mapping processes, and best practices that drive execution excellence. Ability to prioritize product initiatives and features based on business impact, customer value, and risk assessment. Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills in complex, cross-functional, and often ambiguous environments. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization. Demonstrated success in driving cross-functional collaboration across Engineering, Design, Compliance, Marketing, and Operations. Deep customer empathy and a data-informed mindset, with a track record of delivering products that meet real user needs. Ability to balance innovation with regulatory, technical, and business constraints, especially in fintech or regulated industries. Passion for coaching, feedback, and people development, fostering a high-performing and engaged product team culture. JOB PURPOSE :
- As a Senior Product Manager in the fintech domain, you will lead the vision, strategy, and execution of digital payment and financial products, combining product leadership, execution oversight, and deep analytical capabilities.
- Acting as the bridge between business, technology, and market needs, you will define innovative solutions that solve complex problems across the financial services landscape, including payments, card schemes, fraud detection, and regulatory compliance.
- In addition to product leadership, you will also lead and mentor a team of product managers, providing direction, coaching, and performance feedback to build a high-performing, customer-centric product organization.
