We are looking for an HR Generalist to join us in our mission to contribute to a greener future. The role is based at our new site in Penang, Malaysia. By joining us, you will contribute to building the first large scale battery factories in Asia, Europe and the United States.

Your tasks

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources professional to manage all HR matters for our Malaysia office. This role is responsible for end-to-end HR operations, ensuring compliance with local labour laws, supporting business leaders and fostering a positive employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruitment & Onboarding : Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, shortlisting, interviews. Coordinate smooth onboarding and orientation for new hires.
• Payroll & HR Administration : Prepare and verify monthly payroll inputs, working closely with our payroll provider. Administer employee records, contracts, and HR documentation.
• Compliance & Labour Law : Ensure HR practices comply with Malaysian labour laws, statutory requirements, and company policies. Handle employee relations, disciplinary matters and dispute resolution in line with regulations.
• General HR Support : Advise managers and employees on HR policies and procedures. Serve as the primary point of contact for local HR matters.
