Senior Product Manager | AI, Fintech & UX

Direct Lending is an award-winning Malaysian fintech on a mission to make financing simple, safe, and affordable for everyone. We’re entering our next growth phase : rebuilding our product with a customer-first and AI-driven mindset. We’re looking for a hands-on Senior Product Manager who loves building, experimenting, and moving fast. You’ll lead a 4-person product team, own the roadmap, and partner with tech, data, credit, business, and external partners to deliver products that delight users and power growth.

Responsibilities

• Design and build the future : Create AI-powered, customer-first products that redefine how Malaysians access and experience financing.
• Autonomy & impact : Report directly to the Founder; own the product vision and execution.
• Growth & innovation : Work at the intersection of AI, credit, UX, and fintech.
• Startup culture : Lean, flat, execution-driven with hybrid working flexibility; office next to MRT TTDI (plus free snacks / coffee / tea).
• Product Vision & Roadmap : Define, prioritise, and execute the product roadmap aligned with Direct Lending’s growth strategy.
• AI-First Rebuild : Drive the next-gen product experience using AI and automation to simplify financing journeys.
• Balance Speed & Structure : Plan and prioritise so the team can move fast without chaos.
• Team Leadership : Manage and grow a 4-person product team; set clear goals and coach for delivery excellence.
• Stakeholder Alignment : Collaborate with tech, data, credit, business teams, and external partners to align product execution with company goals.
• User Experience : Champion customer-first design, ensuring frictionless, intuitive, and delightful product experiences.
• Subject Matter Expertise : Be the in-house go-to for product development, with deep understanding of fintech and credit products.
