Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and implement national sales strategies aligned with the company's global direction and local market dynamics.
  • Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams.

Sales Performance Management

  • Set and monitor KPIs, targets, and forecasts for the national sales team and dealer network.
  • Drive the achievement of volume, profitability, and market penetration goals.

    • Dealer Network Management

  • Expand and optimize the dealer network in line with brand and customer experience standards.
  • Support dealers in achieving performance targets through training, marketing support, and operational excellence.

    • Team Development & Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and inspire a high-performing sales team.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, agility, and continuous improvement.

    • Customer & Market Insights

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with marketing to ensure brand alignment and effective product positioning.

    • Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with aftersales, marketing, finance, and product teams to ensure end-to-end business alignment.
  • Liaise with regional and HQ teams on reporting, planning, and strategic initiatives.

    • Key Requirements

  • Proven experience (10+ years) in automotive sales leadership, preferably with a multinational or top-tier automotive brand.
  • Strong track record in developing and executing successful sales strategies.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Malaysian automotive market and regulatory landscape.
  • Experience managing dealer networks and large sales teams.
  • Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
