Overview Position Overview
Deliver standardized frontline IT support services in compliance with corporate IT service management processes (ITIL). Maintain corporate IT infrastructure and end-user systems while performing basic operational tasks under engineers' guidance, ensuring efficient and compliant daily operations. This role also supports operation and maintenance of application-development platforms—including Earth Platform, Lenovo MicroService Platform (LMP), and DevOps Platform—as well as xCloud service platforms such as xCloud Service Console and Automation Working Platform (AWP). Responsibilities cover service-request handling, daily inspections, alert and monitoring triage, incident resolution, change management, configuration management, and service reporting. Receive work orders, e-mails, or instant messages from IT users, BU users, the monitoring center, and Level 2 teams; respond via e-mail or message, create tickets, and manage the full ticket life cycle—response, update, escalation, and closure.
Core Responsibilities
User Support
Resolve employee endpoint issues per SOPs (hardware failures / software installation / account access)
Deploy and configure office equipment (Windows / macOS / mobile devices)
Respond to service desk tickets within 20 minutes (initial response)
System Maintenance
Perform basic server health checks (CPU / memory / disk space)
Assist in patch deployment and backup operations (following change management processes)
Maintain IT asset database (devices / licenses / IP addresses)
Process Execution
Document and escalate incidents per established procedures
Update knowledge base articles (FAQs / solution repository)
Execute security compliance tasks (password policy enforcement / antivirus scans)
Earth Platform, Lenovo MicroService Platform (LMP), and DevOps Platform Operation
Ensure the stable operation of the company’s Kubernetes clusters and be able to quickly locate and resolve production issues.
Maintain and upgrade Kubernetes core components to improve the stability and operational efficiency of large-scale container clusters.
Maintain and optimize services in the Kubernetes ecosystem, including container networking, image management, and observability.
Provide day-to-day business support and on-call duty to guarantee service availability and user experience.
Qualifications
Degree in Computer Science / related field
Proficiency in OS maintenance (Windows 10+ / macOS)
Understanding of TCP / IP fundamentals (IP / DNS / VLAN)
Ability to strictly follow documented procedures
Deep knowledge of Kubernetes concepts and architecture; hands-on experience in optimizing and troubleshooting specific components.
Familiar with Docker / container and underlying OS technologies (container networking, cgroups, CFS, etc.).
Strong automation mindset; able to automate operations with Python, Shell, or Golang.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; good at summarizing and writing technical documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
ITIL V4 Foundation certification
Service desk or desktop support internship experience
Skillful scripting skills (Batch / Bash)
Practical experience or internships involving Oracle / MySQL / Milvus / Elasticsearch preferred
Relevant certifications (MySQL OCP / ) are a plus
