Industry experience : 5+ years in the baking or frozen food industry, with a focus on R&D. Technical expertise : Deep knowledge of baking processes, automation, and frozen product development. Analytical skills : High attention to detail and ability to interpret data for product formulation improvements. Leadership abilities : Strong organizational and project management skills to guide the R&D team effectively. Communication prowess : Excellent collaboration abilities to work with internal teams and external partners. Language skills : Proficiency in English, Malay, and Mandarin to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders and customers. Generous annual leave : 12 days, increasing by 2 days yearly Health benefits : Annual optometry and dental allowances Performance-based rewards : Bonus and increments based on your achievements Work-life balance : Monday to Friday work schedule, 9am-6pm or 8 : 30am-5 : 30pm

What you'll be doing?
- Lead innovation : Spearhead the R&D department, setting strategic goals to drive product development and quality improvement in frozen bakery products.
- Collaborate with customers : Work closely with corporate clients to develop custom OEM frozen bakery products that meet their unique needs.
- Ensure compliance : Maintain product integrity and safety by adhering to industry standards and regulations.
- Implement new technologies : Introduce and manage innovative technologies, with a focus on full automation.
- Manage projects : Develop and oversee R&D projects that enhance product quality and efficiency, while effectively managing budgets and resources.
- Cross-functional teamwork : Collaborate with production, quality assurance, and marketing teams to ensure market relevance and product quality.
- Stay ahead of trends : Monitor industry developments to keep the company competitive through continuous innovation.
