Overview
The role is responsible for leading a team to curate and onboard strategic travel-related products and merchants into the airline’s travel services ecosystem. This role ensures that the ecosystem offers a diverse, high-quality, and commercially viable range of services that enhance the overall customer journey while driving ancillary revenue. As the primary decision-maker in merchant selection and partnership management, the Manager identifies key opportunities, negotiates agreements, and oversees the seamless integration of travel services such as ground transportation, tours, activities, travel insurance, and other ancillary products. The role also focuses on optimizing commercial performance, customer experience, and operational efficiency.
Key Accountability
- Product & Merchant Selection - Lead the team in identifying, evaluating, and securing partnerships with merchants that align with the airline\'s travel services strategy. Ensure a diverse and high-quality portfolio of products and services for customers.
- Commercial & Revenue Growth - Develop partnership models to drive ancillary revenue, ensure competitive pricing, and maximize profitability. Monitor performance and adjust strategies to meet revenue goals.
- Vendor & Relationship Management - Build and maintain strong partnerships with merchants, ensuring ongoing performance monitoring and service quality. Act as the primary point of contact, resolving issues and ensuring collaboration.
- Customer-Centric Approach - Curate a relevant product portfolio based on market trends and customer needs. Continuously evaluate and refine offerings to stay ahead of competitors and meet traveler demands.
- Integration & Execution - Collaborate with internal teams to integrate new services seamlessly into the airline’s platforms. Ensure smooth product execution across digital channels and operational workflows.
- Team Leadership & Strategy - Lead and mentor the team to execute the travel services roadmap and align with business objectives. Foster a collaborative culture, set performance targets, and ensure team success.
