Group Finance Head (Plantation)

Overview

This company is based in Selangor with diverse operations around the region centered around the Plantation industry. They have been a key player in this segment for decades and are looking to expand the team with the hiring of a Group Finance Head to join their team.

Responsibilities

As a leader in the senior management team, this position will report to the CFO and manage the Finance function encompassing the day-to-day accounting operations. As a Finance Head you will ensure timely Financial Reporting and Statutory Reporting, compliance to controls and drive strong corporate governance that is aligned with Group policies and procedures. Group Treasury is also important to ensure efficient management of the company's assets. Your role will also deliver insights and strategic recommendations to the CFO and other stakeholders in the senior leadership team, and support the CFO in providing the BOD with timely insights for decision-making.

Qualifications

This role requires a minimum of 20 years experience in Finance & Accounting with at least 10 years experience in a people management role. Applicants would need to be professionally qualified and a member of accounting bodies such as ICAEW, ACCA or CPA and experience in the Plantation industry. You will also need strong stakeholder management skill, good interpersonal skill and a keen eye for detail. Candidates with Big 4 audit experience would have a strong competitive advantage to be shortlisted.
