Division and Team

At the heart of Deutsche Bank’s client franchise and Global Hausbank strategy is the Corporate Bank, a market leader in lending, trade finance, cash management, FX and rates risk management, trust and agency services as well as securities services. Our Large Local Corporates Coverage team provides clients with holistic solutions to meet their strategic objectives, with access across the Corporate Bank’s product suite and global network, and the expertise of the Investment Bank.

Position Overview

Details of the Division and Team : At the heart of Deutsche Bank’s client franchise and Global Hausbank strategy is the Corporate Bank, a market leader in lending, trade finance, cash management, FX and rates risk management, trust and agency services as well as securities services. Our Large Local Corporates Coverage team provides clients with holistic solutions to meet their strategic objectives – with full access across the Corporate Bank’s product suite and global network, as well as the expertise of the Investment Bank.

Your key responsibilities

  • Construct strategic dialogues with senior clients from local large corporates headquartered in Malaysia to originate new opportunities and structure solutions with product partners across the corporate bank product suite.
  • Coordinate with local country relationship bankers in other DB locations to ensure integrated and seamless coverage for clients.
  • Build and deepen relationships across the client portfolio, demonstrated via new deal wins and increased revenue share of wallet.
  • Advise clients and provide insights into macroeconomic, geopolitical, and regulatory trends impacting clients and their industries.
  • Stay abreast of developments in client businesses and industry ecosystems and manage risks within the portfolio.

    • Your skills and experience

  • Proven experience as a relationship manager with strong connections to target clientele, including prospect names
  • Strong origination mindset to identify client needs and deliver solutions across Deutsche Bank’s product groups, especially transaction banking and global markets; investment banking product knowledge is a plus
  • Solid corporate banking product knowledge and credit skills; understanding of transaction banking, global markets (FX, rates, commodities)
  • Motivated, agile, and KPI-driven with collaborative mindset
  • Strong influencing skills and ability to work across cross-business partnerships
  • Proactive, detail-oriented with strong ethics and judgement
  • Hands-on execution experience
