Your Role at Akru
As an Executive – Operations & Customer Service, you'll be the backbone of our day-to-day operational success. You must have a strong understanding of financial operations, exceptional organisational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced start-up environment. You will be responsible for managing and coordinating various operational tasks to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage daily back-office operations : trade settlements, portfolio accounting, cash flow reconciliation, and transaction processing.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of investment transactions, including trade confirmation, settlement, and reconciliation.
- Monitor and reconcile cash flows, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Akru's established policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with teams across portfolio management, finance, and compliance to resolve discrepancies and ensure workflow continuity.
- Maintain detailed and organised operational records and support regulatory reporting activities.
- Assist in implementing and optimising back-office systems and processes.
- Stay current with regulatory changes and operational best practices to recommend continuous improvement.
- Provide support in preparing and generating reports required by the relevant authorities, performance analysis, and other operational metrics as needed.
- Support client onboarding and account maintenance to ensure a seamless client experience.
What We're Looking For
Basic Qualifications :
Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related fields.Preferred Experience & Skills :
Minimum 2 years' experience in operations within investment management or financialservices.
Strong grasp of financial instruments, trade settlements, and portfolio systems.Familiarity with SC reporting, AMLA requirements, and fintech tools – portfolioaccounting software and other financial tools.
High attention to detail and analytical capability for identifying and resolvingdiscrepancies.
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities; able to meet tight deadlines.Effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.Adaptive to change, with a willingness to embrace innovation and processimprovements.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to maintaining strictconfidentiality.
