Overview
Build and manage a robust pipeline of inbound and outbound opportunities across Malaysia and the region. Respond to web inquiries and proactively generate new leads through networking, referrals, intermediaries, and market initiatives. Maintain a balance between sourcing new logos and farming accounts. You’ll project-manage the full sales cycle by coordinating with TMF presales teams for lead qualification, solution design, proposal development, pricing, contract negotiation, KYC, and handover to delivery teams. Act as the Deal Lead for large, multi-country opportunities, coordinating internal teams to deliver tailored, high-value solutions.
Client & Intermediary Engagement
Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, intermediaries, and industry influencers in the market. Develop strategic account plans to grow existing client relationships and identify cross-selling opportunities across TMF’s global footprint.
Performance & Reporting
Meet (and exceed!) annual sales and pipeline generation targets, all measured in Annual Contract Value (ACV). Provide accurate weekly pipeline forecasts and maintain up-to-date CRM records (We’re using Microsoft Dynamics).
Strategic Contribution
Collaborate with leadership to refine sales strategies, improve processes, and enhance conversion rates. Contribute to team development by coaching peers and sharing best practices. You\'ll also provide guidance to TMF Malaysia local team on landing pipeline management. Champion TMF’s values and culture, acting as a brand ambassador in the market.
Job Requirements
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, sales, or a related field. Proven track record in business development, consulting, legal, or professional services. Experience managing complex, multi-jurisdictional sales cycles involving pre-sales.
Skills & Attributes
Fluent in English (written and spoken); proficiency in Malay and / or Mandarin is a plus. We are looking for Mandarin-speaking candidates who will be serving Mandarin-speaking customers. Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to understand client needs and craft tailored solutions – no hard selling. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to manage multiple cases simultaneously. Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with Copilot, CRM tools (Microsoft Dynamics or Salesforce preferred).
Industry Network
A well-established network of intermediaries and industry contacts in Malaysia and / or the region is highly desirable.
