Planning, Organising, Maintaining and Managing the processes and operations of the Student Services Department.Develop the strategic direction and policy for the department of student services that are in alignment with the outcomes identified in the university’s strategic plansImplement quality services which meets the need of various stakeholders and ensure a seamless delivery of such services to all stakeholders through cooperative, collaborative, and timely efforts with staff form other departments, faculty, students, and external organisations / agencies.Responsible for ensuring all programmes and activities comply with university regulations and governance.Responsible for the department’s budget planning and optimization.Lead the department including student accommodation, extracurricular activities, alumni engagement, financial aid activities, welfare matters, and student self-development activities.Ensure communications with students, parents, faculty, administrators, and external agencies / authorities are timely, effective, and aligned with university’s strategic planEnsure student needs are recognized and addressed through collaboration between students and faculty.Always uphold professionalism and integrity in the discharge of duties for or on behalf of IMU.Job Requirements
The successful candidate should have an appropriate combination of education, training, and experience in Student Affairs and Services, continuous quality improvement processes, and budget and fiscal management :
- A degree / Master holder with more than 5 years of working experience in the education sector and has some global experience with students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong background in defining, implementing, and managing customer-centric processes and operations.
