Our Client, with an established history of providing global logistics execution & supply chain services platform, providing air and sea freight, road freight and contract logistics.
The Challenges
- Hunt, win and acquire new business and customers for the organization
- Lead the engagement and grow assigned customers in country
- Maintain positive and close relationships with all assigned customers
- Lead and prepare customer quotations and proposals
- Meet targets and / or increase the organization's revenue, volumes and gross profit
- Execute business development strategies and tactics
- Assist management and leadership in the formulation of sales planning, tactics and strategies when required
- Interact with local and regional product teams (including Air, Ocean and others) on securing the best rates in the market for customer proposal purposes
- Manage and analyze the performance of owned customers, identify the need for action and execute these actions
- Support and / or enable the growth of assigned accounts regionally or globally if required
- Work collaboratively with leadership & related stakeholders to implement new & existing sales initiatives
- Work on tenders / RFQs / Bids if required
- Positive internal stakeholder relationship management - Tech, Product, CS, Operations & others
- Contribute ideas on process improvements & implementation of related improvements
- Internal stakeholder management
- Execute and manage all other jobs as assigned by immediate and dotted line manager
What It Takes
Degree / Diploma in Business Administration or Sales & MarketingMin. five years customer facing sales experience of which three years in a sales management capacity in a freight forwarding, shipping, Logistics or Supply Chain environment is a MUSTGood records in execution of successful sales development strategiesWorking knowledge in Freight Forwarding and / or logistics related operations and selling processProactive, independent and able to multi-task and work in a matrix reporting environmentStrong customer focus and service ethicsProficient in use of Microsoft Office applicationsGood interpersonal skills, accountable, initiative and willingness to learnGood consultative sales techniques and well-developed negotiation skillsPossess a high level of honesty, integrity, and ethicsGood team player with positive working attitudeAbility to operate effectively in a rapidly growing and dynamic changing environmentGood time management with ability to prioritise and work within timelinesStrong sense of commitment and responsibilityA good team playerInterested candidates, please click the Apply For This Job button.
