Maintenance and Technical Support Engineer - Food Manufacturing (Kapar)

Overview

Maintenance and Technical Support Engineer to join our team in the food manufacturing sector. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of production equipment. Location : Kapar, Klang area. Claimable transport allowance if required to travel . Free parking . 6 working days only – rotational shifts .

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance activities for production machinery and equipment.
• Implement and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Conduct routine and preventive maintenance to minimize equipment breakdowns and reduce production downtime.
• Prepare and maintain preventive maintenance checklists in compliance with ISO and DOSH standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and other technical issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, health, and environmental regulations (e.g., ISO 9001, HACCP).
• Support in technical issue resolution (after sales technical support).
• Attend to and resolve IT-related issues such as printer, internet, phone, and server room breakdowns.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by management.
• Hands-on experience with troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
