Development Team Lead (Ipoh)

As a Development Team Lead, you are responsible for leading and inspiring a scrum development team to deliver innovative solutions aligned with Exact's strategic roadmap. This role ensures the highest standards of software quality, manages technical domains, and executes the technology strategy to support business objectives. You also oversee team performance, foster professional growth, and handle day-to-day people management and talent development.

• Job is fully based in IPOH.
• Lead, build, maintain, inspire, and develop a scrum development team.
• Deliver solutions according to the innovation roadmap with your scrum team.
• Manage all software quality issues related to development, integration, testing, and performance of applications, and act as a point of escalation in related fields.
• Ensure software is developed according to standards and recommended designs.
• Execute the technology strategy in specific areas or products to support the business and technology strategy.
• Cover a specific technical domain as the key responsibility.
• Day-to-day people engagement : attendance and absenteeism, team meetings and communication, leave management, expense claim approval.
• Performance management : setting team objectives and reviews, regular check-ins and feedback dialogues, formal award check-in performance discussions, handling of PIP, salary reviews.
• Learning and development : identify learning needs and create learning plans, conduct career aspiration dialogues, and support personal development.
