Summary
The Commercial Operations Manager drives growth across business units, providing accurate commercial and operational support during the sales and operations cycle. The role responds to market changes, ensures corporate objectives are met, and delivers timely support to the commercial team.
Responsibilities
- Ensure standardized S&OP process across BD businesses and distributors.
- Partner with SEA planning to establish accurate demand forecasting / planning.
- Attend and conduct pre-consensus meetings with high-quality outputs.
- Analyze and comment on monthly country performance on In-Market Sales, Trade Sales, and Future Days’ Sales (FDS) inventory level.
- Monitor and escalate inventory risks for appropriate action.
- Work closely with business teams to implement corporate-level sales operation strategy, projects, and processes.
- Support businesses to streamline and optimize sales and operations processes with distributors.
- Drive achievement of distributor KPIs by serving as key contact person to distributors.
- Review and approve distributor charges / claims per distributor agreement.
- Accountable for in-market sales tool, Salesforce.com, ensuring data integrity and system changes.
- Process owner for production of sales performance reports and incentives calculation.
- Lead new product introduction and launch planning with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Analyze internal business trends and processes to enable improvement initiatives.
- Perform other tasks assigned from time to time.
Qualifications
Degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, or Engineering.4–7 years of experience in Supply Chain or Operations Management.Excellent knowledge of SAP, BW, and APO.Proficient in MS Excel application.Strong analytical skill and ability to perform data mining and reporting analysis.Root cause analysis ability with recommendation of resolution.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Business and customer oriented with strong teamwork ability.Fluent English (written & spoken); additional Asian language(s) is a strong asset.Core Competencies
