Position Overview :

A & A Concept Design & Contract Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Executive to join our team. This role is critical to the company's operations as it directly supports our sourcing, supplier management, and cost optimization strategies. The successful candidate must possess basic knowledge of the China market and demonstrate proficiency in Mandarin (reading, writing, and speaking) to effectively liaise with suppliers, manufacturers, and business partners.

This position is multi-faceted, where you will be working closely with the Design Team and Accounts Team to ensure regularity with client documentation, invoicing and contracts - while adhering to the Design needs and requirements of the Design Team and our Clients.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop, implement, and manage procurement strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials, products, and services.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers, primarily from China, ensuring quality, reliability, and compliance with company standards.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with international and local suppliers.
• Monitor market trends, competitor strategies, and industry standards to ensure the company maintains a competitive edge.
• Prepare, review, and manage procurement contracts and agreements.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation, reporting, and compliance with company policies.
• Collaborate with internal departments (design, project, finance, operations) to ensure alignment of procurement activities with business needs.
• Identify risks in the supply chain and propose mitigation strategies.
• Work closely with internal teams such as the Design Team for design specifications and Production / Site Supervisors for project materials to understand and interpret the project scope for accurate cost estimation.
• Sourcing and purchasing items required in the tender, while monitoring & controlling project costing, and issuing purchase orders.
• Monitoring on the delivery of goods purchased as per date required to meet the timeline of all projects.
• Knowledge in interior design industry or familiar with interior decoration work is an added advantage.
• Verify variation orders, progress claims by sub-contractors and ensure final account settlement based on agreed quotations are carried out.
