Human Resources Business Partner
CMA CGM, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for providing comprehensive HR support to CMA CGM entities, including headcount planning, employee lifecycle management, engagement and relations, talent development , and ensuring compliance with Malaysian labour laws and internal HR policies.
The HRBP will also collaborate closely with Regional HR and Business Stakeholders to drive HR initiatives that support organizational goals.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner with business leaders to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
- Proactively identify people-related issues and provide solutions that support business performance and employee experience.
- Support annual headcount and manpower cost planning , ensuring governance and alignment with budget requirements.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives , including survey communication, action planning, and follow-up execution.
- Manage day-to-day HR operations and support the implementation of HR strategies and policies.
- Work with stakeholders and Regional HR teams to identify training needs and support employee development.
- Support the performance management cycle and facilitate calibration discussions as required.
- Manage talent processes such as employee transfers, promotions, and organization structure reviews .
- Oversee employment contract issuance, benefits administration , and maintain employee records, with basic understanding of payroll processes for coordination purposes (not direct processing).
- Review and update local HR policies and processes to ensure compliance with labour regulations and internal standards.
- Provide HRBP support and advisory to managers and employees, ensuring consistency and fairness across HR practices.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration , or a related discipline.Minimum 2 years of experience in HR Business Partnering or HR Generalist roles.Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia , with the ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and local authorities.Strong understanding of Malaysian labour laws and HR compliance .Good interpersonal, problem‑solving, and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships across levels.Strong sense of ownership, adaptability, and professionalism in managing multiple priorities.Seniority level
