Join our client's team as a CNC Machinist and play a crucial role in optimizing production efficiency, ensuring top-quality output, and driving continuous improvement in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
What you'll be doing?
- Machine Setup : Ensure CNC machines are properly configured for each production run, adjusting tool offsets, workpiece clamping, and machine parameters to meet job requirements.
- Production Planning : Optimize efficiency by scheduling and organizing production runs, coordinating with other departments to meet targets.
- Tool Management : Maintain inventory of cutting tools and accessories, ensuring uninterrupted production through timely ordering and replacement.
- Quality Assurance : Oversee quality control processes, conduct inspections, and implement corrective actions to maintain high product standards.
- Efficiency Improvement : Identify and implement opportunities to enhance CNC machine productivity through optimized cutting parameters and programming techniques.
- Training and Supervision : Guide and mentor machine operators and junior machinists, fostering a safe and efficient work environment.
- Problem Solving : Address technical issues promptly, troubleshoot problems, and coordinate repairs to minimize downtime.
- Multi-Machine Operation : Manage two CNC machines simultaneously, maximizing production capacity while maintaining quality standards.
