This candidate is a key role in attracting business and driving revenue for the Hotel. They are directly responsible for generating new business and nurturing relationships, especially with corporate clients, to ensure a steady stream of guest and event bookings.
Qualifications
- Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Business Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in hotel sales or corporate business development.
- Knowledge in on / offline business.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building client relationships.
- Deep understanding of the hospitality industry, including corporate market segment, key distribution channels and systems, competitor analysis.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese to meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities
Identifying, pursuing, and managing a portfolio of key corporate clients, by developing and executing sales strategies for the corporate sector.Familiar with analyzing market trends to identify new business opportunities, such as corporate accounts and travel agencies.Setting sales goals, forecasting, and tracking sales performance to maximize revenue and occupancy with KPI and budgetary objectives.Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with key clients, this can involve daily sales visits, attending trade shows, and other networking activities.To organize and arrange familiarization trips (FAM trips) for corporate clients.
Support day-to-day operations of the sales & distribution team. This can include preparing contracts, proposals, and event orders, ensuring a smooth handover of business to the event management or operations teams.
Added skills with knowledge in distribution channels, such as OTAs, managing inventory, and direct bookings.Willing to travel for business trips and attend events as needed.Carries out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
