Job Summary
To assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the IT Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plan and relevant activities related to it. Responsible for assisting in the overall coordination of the IT Continuity & Disaster Recovery Plan to ensure the readiness of the IT applications and infrastructure for business continuity during disaster events. To support the implementation of ISMS in ensuring the enforcement of policies and procedures within the organization.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in developing, updating, and implementing the disaster recovery plan.
- Assist in the technical testing and IT Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plan regularly.
- Support in identifying gaps, issues, potential threats, and vulnerabilities that could disrupt operations based on the disaster recovery plan.
- Coordinate with other departments within the IT operations to ensure all are prepared for a disaster.
- Assist in conducting regular briefings to create awareness of the disaster response.
- Assist in assessing the effectiveness of the IT Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plan regularly.
- Supporting in creating a report for the annual simulation and communicating the findings with the stakeholders.
- Assist and support the ISMS certification and implementation within the divisions.
- Responsible for the integrity and accessibility of the documents created within the divisions.
- Supporting the risk assessment and business continuity management activities within the divisions.
- Responsible for audit coordination within the divisions as and when required.
- Assist in following up and engagement with the stakeholders for related tasks assignment.
Qualifications
Holds a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology / Computer Science / or any related discipline and equivalent from a reputable university with a minimum CGPA of 3.00.Knowledge of ITIL, ISO 27001, DR / BCP frameworks, and IT compliance.Certifications such as ITIL, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer / Auditor are an added value.Work Experience
The candidate should possess 1–3 years of relevant work experience.Demonstrated experience in infrastructure management, compliance audit, security, and project management. Familiarity with will be an added advantage.Hands-on experience in implementing infrastructure and system projects.Proficiency in documenting processes, workflows, and requirements using tools such as flowcharts, diagrams, and written documentation.Ability to effectively engage and communicate with stakeholders at various levels of the organization to gather requirements, address concerns, and gain buy-in for process changes.Experience managing process improvement projects, including planning, executing, and monitoring activities to ensure timely delivery and successful implementation of changes.Experience with security audits, risk assessments, and internal controls.Familiarity with IT systems, software tools, and methodologies related to process improvement and frameworks such as ISO 27001, ITIL, COBIT, GDPR, HIPAA, and NIST.Technical Competencies / Skills
