Technical Product Manager / Owner (Mobile)

We're looking for an experienced Product Owner to lead the end-to-end creation and launch of a best-in-class CFD and spread betting mobile app.In this high-impact role, reporting to the Chief Product Officer, you'll optimize our product development lifecycle through close collaboration with product and development teams.

Your Role

You'll champion the product vision, articulate user stories, and effectively work with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the development and launch of a best-in-class CFD and spread betting mobile app
• Translate complex business requirements into clear product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Collaborate closely with engineering and architecture to understand the technology stack, influence architectural decisions, and ensure scalability.
• Manage the technical product backlog, prioritisingtasks, guiding estimation, identifying dependencies, and addressing technical debt.
• Lead Agile ceremonies and foster a collaborative culture within development teams and engagement with the wider businesscommunity and strategy
• Oversee release managementwith your QA, SRE and engineering team to ensure smooth and predictable deployments
• Act as the primary point of contact for development squads and communicate effectively with all stakeholders on roadmap delivery and technical concepts.
• 3-5+ years of proven success as a Product Owner, Technical Product Owner or Technical Business Analyst.
• Experience working in JIRA, Confluence, Figma, Miro (or similar tools) in a masterful way.
• Experience developing and supporting mobile applications (iOS and Android) used by thousands of retail customers.
• Strong grasp of mobile development principles (native, hybrid, cross-platform frameworks like React Native), understanding of mobile-specific APIs, performance optimization for mobile, and considerations for offline functionality and data synchronization.
• Knowledge of mobile-specific testing methodologies, including device testing, network condition testing, performance and security testing.
• Excellent interpersonal, and presentation skills to clearly communicate delivery progress and timelines in different ways.
• Strong project and cross-functional stakeholder management skills.
• Experience cooperating with Engineering Leads to get the most out of development teams.
• Strong technical writing ability with experience co-creating and reviewing technical specifications and tasks.
• Experience managing and communicating releases to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Experience implementing agile processes and being able to adapt to the needs and capabilities of the business.
