About the Role We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Manager to join our finance team in Shah Alam. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full financial reporting cycle, compliance management, and continuous process improvement. You will work closely with management to provide financial insights that support business growth and ensure sound financial governance.
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate monthly and annual financial reports, budgets, cost analyses, and forecasts.
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including taxation, treasury functions, and general ledger maintenance.
- Monitor business performance and implement effective cost control measures.
- Lead internal and external audit processes, ensuring timely completion and resolution of findings.
- Review and verify staff claims, payments, and company transactions for accuracy and compliance.
- Monitor loan drawdowns, repayments, and interest calculations, when necessary.
- Liaise with bankers on financial, credit, and facility-related matters.
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of statutory reports (e.g., SST / GST, annual reports).
- Identify areas for financial process improvement and recommend practical enhancements.
- Perform any other finance-related duties as assigned by the CEO or DCEO.
Qualifications
Recognized professional qualification (e.g., ACCA Level 1 or above, CPA, or equivalent).Minimum 8 years of solid experience in accounting or financial management.Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Hands-on and proactive, with the ability to lead a small team effectively.Able to work independently and communicate across departments with confidence and clarity.Language Proficiency : English, Bahasa Melayu, Mandarin.
