Assistant Manager - Alumni Relations (80073)
Sunway Education Group is seeking an Assistant Manager – Alumni Relations to drive engagement with our alumni community, both local and international. This role involves developing impactful engagement strategies, organising alumni events, and promoting alumni achievements.
Responsibilities
- Develop new and creative strategies to increase overall alumni engagement using various communication channels and events.
- Lead collaboration with internal stakeholders to strengthen connections with alumni across academic schools.
- Conceptualise, organize, and implement effective international alumni events and engagement activities.
- Spearhead the international alumni volunteer network through consistent communication and strong relationship-building.
- Cultivate meaningful strategies to encourage international alumni to contribute to student scholarships and contribute back to their alma mater.
- Oversee tracking processes to maintain accurate international alumni records and ensure the database is consistently updated.
- Promote international alumni through social media, promotional materials, and campus publications.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum of 5 years’ related work experience.Excellent organisational and communication skills (both oral and written).Strong interpersonal and networking abilities, with the capacity to build rapport and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and persuade.Able to take primary responsibility for diverse number of projects and to complete them in a timely manner with limited supervision.Proven experience in planning and executing successful events.Prior experience in alumni relations and / or international engagement will be an added advantage.We appreciate the interest of all applicants for this position.
