Procurement Executive (Automotive)

Penerangan pekerjaanBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field. At least 3 years of procurement or sourcing experience, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry. Strong skills in cost analysis, supplier negotiation, and localization. Proficient in SAP and Excel, familiar with contract and supplier management. Good understanding of pricing strategies, forex, and commodity trends. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop competitive local suppliers to support direct material localization for Chery’s assembly plant.
- Manage RFQ processes, price negotiation, and supplier nomination to meet project cost and delivery targets.
- Conduct cost structure analysis and market benchmarking to ensure competitive pricing and cost savings.
- Monitor pricing accuracy through periodic reviews based on forex, commodity trends, and market changes.
- Act as the main liaison between suppliers and internal departments to align on technical and quality requirements.
- Lead cost-saving initiatives such as value engineering, local substitution, and process optimization.
- Perform supplier risk assessments and develop mitigation plans to ensure stable supply continuity.
- Maintain accurate procurement documentation, contracts, and supplier records for audit and compliance.
