Job description will prompt up after click to see. Are you a recent graduate with a keen interest in structural engineering?

As a Structural Engineer at Doshin Rubber Products Sdn. Bhd., you’ll have the opportunity to work on designing and analyzing steel joints and bearing systems for various projects, including bridges and buildings. Gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge tools and technologies, including ETABS and CAD software.

QUALIFICATION

Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

EXPERIENCE

Proven experience in designing steel joints, including bolted and welded connections, for bridges or buildings.

OTHER PERSONAL CAPABILITIES

Proficiency in 2D and 3D drawing software (e.g., AutoCAD).

Familiarity with international design codes (Eurocodes, AASHTO, ASCE, British codes) is highly desirable.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client liaison and teamwork.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.

Assist in developing and analyzing designs for steel joints, including bolted and welded connections.

Ensure designs meet structural requirements, safety standards, and project specifications.

Bearing Systems Design

Contribute to the design and analysis of bearing systems such as laminated rubber bearings, pot bearings, and restraint bearings.

Gain hands-on experience in accommodating structural movements and loads.

Utilize ETABS for structural analysis, and interpret ETABS results to enhance design solutions

Work with clients to understand their needs and help provide solutions for joint designs and bearing systems.

Develop your communication skills by discussing design options and recommendations.

Drawing and Documentation

Create 2D and 3D drawings for components and assemblies using software tools (AutoCAD, Inventor).

Prepare comprehensive design documentation, including calculations and reports.

Compliance and Standards

Apply international design codes and standards (e.g., Eurocodes, AASHTO, ASCE, British codes) to ensure designs are up-to-date.

Stay current with industry practices and trends.

DEGREE IN ENGINEERING / SCIENCE OR EQUIVALENT

EXPERIENCE

MINIMUM 1-2 YEAR(S) WORKING EXPERIENCE IN MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY OR EQUIVALENT

OTHER PERSONAL CAPABILITIES

Able to work under pressure and independently with minimum supervision.

Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact well at all levels.

Initiative, self-motivated and have good technical skills in decision making.

Capable to read technical drawing.

Job Responsibility

A) PRODUCTION

To establish Standard Operating Procedure for all process / product.

To involve in any new product development (Prototypes) before mass production.

To provide guidance / training for individuals and all staff members related to the process.

To participate in monthly and annual stock take.

To monitor all product quality and performance closely with Technical Department.

To verify all the production parameters (Temperature, Cure time, Machine Pressure, Compound and Metal plates) according to standard.

To check machine temperature calibration from time to time (Press machine).

C) SAFETY

To improve the manufacturing process, output efficiency and to maintain safe manufacturing practice.

To enact 5S concept among all production workers.

In addition, must carried out any additional task given by superior from time to time.

EXPERIENCE

Minimum 1 year working experience in sales and engineering

Job Responsibility

To promote technical rubber products such as bearing pads, compression seals, expansion joints.

To work closely with civil consultant and subcontractor.

To issue / check works order before submit to the Production Department.

To liaise with Customer Service Assistant and Production Department to follow up customer’s order and its delivery.

Follow up customer outstanding orders.

Responsible for monthly sales collection.

Any other assignment / duties given by the company from time to time.

To ensure the production head count is adequate as per planned by superior.

To ensure the production produce as per schedule / planned.

To prepare Job Sheet and to provide S.O.P accordingly.

To ensure all machine are operating in good condition, if not issue Maintenance Requisition Form (MRF) or report to superior.

To prepare Machine Output Checklist (MOC) for every product running and make sure all the parameters (Temperature, Pressure, Curing Time, Weight and Compound Code) are set as per requirement.

To filled in the First Product Check (Dimension) and related form for every new product (If Any) to get approval before starting mass production.

To monitor closely the production target is achieved as per Job Sheet.

To ensure shift performance is reviewed for every end of shift.

To participate in monthly and annually stock take.

To brief all the worker regarding Safety & Health Policies, PPE awareness and proper tools use during operating shift accordingly.

To ensure the workplace is tidy all the time.

If notice any unusual things, must immediately report to superior.

To enact 5s concept among all production worker.

In addition, must carried out any additional task given by superior from time to time.

Minimum SPM / Certificate / Diploma in any related field.

EXPERIENCE

Working experience as QA Supervisor in any manufacturing field is an added advantage.

Experience in using measuring equipment is an added advantage.

Able to write inspection report and physically fit to execute inspection activities.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Daily inspection and monitoring on QA Buy off inspection and finished goods from production.

Daily follow up with inspectors on daily inspection progress.

Fully in-charge to arrange the final buy off inspection promptly and effectively.

To liaise with Production PIC to identify / notify the QA accepted products and rejected products upon completion of the QA buy on inspection.

Any lot / batch of product that failed the sampling plan, the lot must be rejected and notify QA Engineer / QA Executive and Production Manager promptly.

To make sure the rejected products are identified and segregated.

To identify the Goods Returned due to Customer Complaint and follow orders from QA HOD / QA Engineer / QA Executive or any other authorized personnel on next action to be taken.

To counter check inspector inspection products and counter check their Dimension Reports.

To counter check printing / writing identification serial number on the final products where required that done by inspectors.

To monitor on shipping / loading goods labeling and packing are correct and take picture during loading.

Any other assignments / duties given by the QA HoD / QA Engineer / QA Executive or any other authorized personnel from time to time.

Minimum SPM / Certificate / Diploma in any related field.

OTHER PERSONAL CAPABILITIES

Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact well at all levels.

Independent, initiative, self-motivated and have good technical skills in decision making.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel & Words) and measuring tools.

Able to work under pressure.

JOB DESCRIPTION

To ensure quality control inspection carried out on all product.

To ensure products quality as per customer requirement.

To ensure to use the right equipment for product quality inspection.

To ensure all incoming material meet standard specification as per technical drawing before release to production.

To ensure all tools and equipment use for quality control is calibrated accordingly and must be in good condition.

Any quality issue needs to be informed immediately to the related responsible person (Engineer / Supervisor) and superior.

To enact 5s concept among all staff.

In addition, must carried out any additional task given by superior from time to time.

Minimum SPM / Certificate / Diploma in any related field.

OTHER PERSONAL CAPABILITIES

Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Proficient in both English and Malay.

Good in planning and coordinating.

JOB DESCRIPTION

To ensure production run according to the Daily Production Machine Schedule.

To arrange manpower according to the Daily Production Machine Schedule.

To prepare Job Sheet for the workers according to the Daily Production Machine Schedule.

To prepare Machine Output Checklist (MOC) for the moulding according to the works order.

To ensure all machine parameter is set according to the MOC and Standard Operating Procedure.

To ensure every first product to be check the dimension and filled up the First Product C heck and any related form before start mass production.

To work closely with the QC to ensure product produce follow standard and according to the Standard Operating Procedure.

To ensure raw material is sufficient for moulding use (Non-Bearing) according to the Daily Production Machine Schedule.

To review production target and workers performance for every shift.

To ensure worker works in safe manner, follow safety practice and use Personal Protective Equipment according to the company rules and regulation.

If found any equipment such as machine, mould, and tools got damaged, need to report to superior immediately.
