Responsible for managing and maintaining positive relationships between employers and employees within an organization. It is essential in ensuring fair treatment, resolving conflicts, and fostering a productive work environment.
Job Responsibilities :
Industrial Relations
Managing / resolving all employee grievances, disputes, and complaints in a timely and effective manner.
Conducting investigations related to employee misconduct or violations of company policies / procedure / rules and regulations.
Lead / Execute Domestic Inquiry process in a timely and effective manner.
Providing guidance and support to managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practices, including employee relations & Industrial relations.
Employee Relations
Lead / Develop / Manage / Execute Employee Relations program / Company activities / events inclusive Service Awards, Annual Dinner / Fun Day, celebrations etc
Managing / Coordinating voting and maintaining department representative yearly
Managing / coordinating department representative, skip level meetings, tea talks, new hires meeting session & follow-up by ensuring closure of action items
Develop / Execute / Interprets monthly employee morale survey
Lead / Execute a retirement lunch party that celebrates the retiree's achievements, honors their contributions, and provides an opportunity for colleagues and friends to come together and wish them well in their retirement.
Managing / Distributing birthday car as birthday gift to all employees to demonstrate appreciation and recognition for employees, contributing to a positive work culture and strengthening employee engagement.
Liaise with next of kin of dismissed employee regarding their funeral expenses, donation and insurance claim related.
Conducting staff exit interviews as part of the offboarding process and provides valuable insights into the reasons for employee turnover and opportunities for improvement within the organization.
HR 1 Stop
Serve as a central point of contact of employees, managers and others assist in related inquiries, requests, and services.
Welcoming employee and address / assist employee concerns, conflicts and grievances in a timely and confidential manner.
Serve as a liaison between employees and management to resolve issues and maintain positive employee relations.
Others
Conduct / participate in Kaizen and other automation projects for work simplification and improvement.
Assist in other company events and activities as when required.
Participate / support other duties and responsibilities which may be assigned by the company from time to time.
Prepare weekly ER / IR reports and disciplinary records tracking.
Lead for inclusiveness project.
Support production in HIT program
Managing / coordinating chitchat, dialogues and follow up by ensuring closure of action items.
Job Requirements :
Must possess bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related
At least 5 years of working experience specializing in Law, Industrial Relation or HR Generalist with working experience in Industrial Relations related field.
Must be proficient in English and Malay.
Strong knowledge of Malaysian Employment Act 1955, Industrial Relation Act 1967 and current labour law practices.
Ability to handle Industrial Relations matter relating to employee discipline, domestic inquiries and grievances independently.
Team player, approachable and possess strong communication. Strong problem solving, negotiation & influencing skills.
Manufacturing exposure is highly desirable. Thrives on a busy, changing and demanding workload within a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge in Power BI, Power Apps, Power automate, CANVA, Advance excel is an added advantage.
