Qashier is a fast-growing startup dedicated to empowering business dreams in the retail, F&B, and beauty industries. We are seeking a Business Development Manager to play a pivotal role in acquiring new merchants and expanding the adoption of our all-in-one POS, Payment, and Loyalty solutions.
About the job : As a Business Development Manager , you will be responsible for proactively seeking and hunting for new leads, generating new sales opportunities, and onboarding new merchants to Qashier's POS and payment solutions.
Responsibilities
- Proactively seek and hunt for new leads and leverage sales tools to seamlessly onboard merchants to Qashier's POS and payment solutions.
- Generate new sales opportunities through calls, emails, direct sales, and referrals, with a focus on retail, F&B, and beauty merchants.
- Act as a trusted advisor to merchants by understanding their unique needs and recommending Qashier's comprehensive POS, Payment, and Loyalty system as the perfect solution to optimise their business operations.
- Close deals efficiently by presenting the benefits and unique features of our POS solutions.
- Work closely with the Operations team to set up and deploy Qashier's POS systems according to each merchant's requirements, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.
- Guide merchants through the installation and setup of Qashier's POS system, providing excellent support throughout the process.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience in B2B sales, merchant acquisition, or business development, ideally within the payments or b2b related fintech industries.Strong knowledge of the Malaysian POS ecosystem, including POS systems, Payment Systems, Loyalty systems, methods, and market trends, is highly advantageous.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with the ability to build rapport and present solutions effectively to merchants.Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also taking initiative and working independently to drive results.A diploma or degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required for candidates with strong, relevant experience.What We Offer
