Integrate qualitative and quantitative insights into actionable recommendations that inform product roadmaps and go‑to‑market strategies. 4. Cross‑Functional Collaboration Present compelling, evidence‑based narratives to executives and stakeholders, championing user‑centric decision‑making. 5. Process Excellence & Thought Leadership Foster a culture of curiosity, continuous learning, and innovation, representing at industry events and forums. 1. Education & Experience 8+ years of experience in product or user research, including 3+ years managing research teams in B2B SaaS or technology environments. Proven ability to translate research insights into product strategies and measurable business outcomes. 2. Technical Skills Proficiency with modern research and analytics tools (e.g., UserTesting, Qualtrics, Dovetail, SPSS / R / Python, Tableau, Power BI). Familiarity with agile development processes, A / B testing, and product analytics platforms (Mixpanel, Amplitude, GA4). 3. Soft Skills Strong cross‑functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills. Demonstrated experience mentoring and scaling high-performing research teams. Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, dynamic, and high‑growth environment. Impact : Your work directly shapes company growth and market position. Head of Product Research
Job Summary
We are seeking a visionary Head of Product Research to lead our client’s expanding research organisation. In this role, you will transform deep user and market insights into clear, data-driven product strategies. You will define the research agenda, mentor a multidisciplinary team, and collaborate closely with Data Science, Product, Design, and Engineering to ensure every product decision is evidence-based and delivers measurable value to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- 1. Research Strategy & Leadership
Define and execute a research vision and roadmap aligned with product and business objectives.
Lead a variety of research studies, including interviews, surveys, ethnography, diary studies, and usability tests to understand user needs and pain points.
Work closely with Product, Design, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success to ensure insights influence prioritisation and feature design.
Establish best practices for research methodology, ethics, and documentation.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HCI, Psychology, Market Research, Data Science, or related field.
Expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methods, statistical analysis, and experimental design.
Strategic thinker and persuasive communicator, able to distil complex data into actionable insights.
