Business Development Manager

Overview

Responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and achieving sales targets in line with company goals. Responsibilities

Identify and prospect potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and referrals. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business. Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay updated on industry trends. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets. Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients. Negotiate and close business deals while ensuring favorable terms and conditions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as finance, marketing and product development, to support sales efforts and deliver exceptional customer solutions. Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, generate reports, and provide recommendations for improvement. Stay informed about competitors and market conditions to effectively position our products / services in the market. Follow-up on customer accounts receivables and proactively resolve any issues related to the collection of outstanding payments. Ensure timely responses to RFQs (Request for Quotation) or tenders. Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to expand the company's network and generate leads. Qualifications

Diploma / Degree in Sales or any other discipline relevant to the supply chain or logistics industry Minimum 5 years of working experience in logistics or supply chain Good presentation and communication skills Seniority level
