Assistant Finance Manager

Role Purpose :

The Assistant Manager, Finance will be responsible for supporting the company's financial management and compliance functions, including reporting, budgeting, internal controls, and statutory matters. This role requires strong financial expertise, leadership capability, and proficiency in Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders, partners, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage day-to-day finance operations including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and treasury functions.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory requirements.
• Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis to support management decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, external audit requirements, and internal policies.
• Implement and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Liaise with banks, auditors, tax agents, and other external parties.
• Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial processes and cost efficiency.
• Supervise and mentor junior finance team members.
• Communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders for financial reporting, queries, and negotiations.
