About the Role
We\'re seeking a QA / QC Manager to lead our quality assurance and quality control efforts on construction projects. As a key member of our team, you\'ll be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive QA / QC plans that ensure our projects meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive QA / QC plans that align with industry standards and project specifications. This includes :
Reviewing project specifications and identifying potential quality risks
Developing and implementing QA / QC procedures and protocolsCoordinating with project stakeholders to ensure QA / QC plans are aligned with project goals and objectivesEnsuring QA / QC plans are communicated to all relevant stakeholdersConduct regular inspections, testing, and monitoring of construction materials, processes, and workmanship to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications. This includes :Conducting site inspections to monitor construction activities and identify potential quality issues
Reviewing and verifying test results to ensure compliance with industry standardsMonitoring construction processes to ensure they are in line with QA / QC proceduresIdentifying and documenting non-conformities and implementing corrective actionsCollaborate with project stakeholders to identify and resolve quality-related issues in a timely and effective manner. This includes :Working closely with project managers, site supervisors, and subcontractors to identify and resolve quality issues
Coordinating with suppliers to ensure materials meet project specificationsCommunicating with clients to ensure their quality expectations are metFacilitating quality-related meetings and workshops to ensure all stakeholders are alignedConduct audits and inspections to evaluate QA / QC procedures and recommend improvements. This includes :Conducting regular audits of QA / QC procedures to ensure they are effective and compliant with industry standards
Identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actionsDeveloping and implementing new QA / QC procedures as neededProviding training and guidance to site personnel on QA / QC proceduresMaintain accurate records of QA / QC data, test results, and corrective actions taken. This includes :Maintaining a comprehensive QA / QC database to track test results, inspections, and corrective actions
Ensuring all QA / QC records are accurate, complete, and up-to-dateProviding regular QA / QC reports to project stakeholdersEnsuring all QA / QC records are compliant with industry standards and regulatory requirementsProvide training and guidance to site personnel on QA / QC best practices. This includes :Developing and delivering training programs on QA / QC procedures and protocols
Providing guidance and support to site personnel on QA / QC best practicesEnsuring all site personnel are aware of QA / QC procedures and protocolsEncouraging a culture of quality and safety on siteEnsure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards. This includes :Staying up-to-date with changes to laws, regulations, and safety standards
Ensuring all QA / QC procedures and protocols are compliant with industry standards and regulatory requirementsConducting regular safety audits and inspections to ensure complianceIdentifying and implementing corrective actions to address non-conformitiesRequirements
8+ years of experience in a QA / QC role within the construction industryDegree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related fieldQlassic Certification or equivalentIn-depth knowledge of construction materials, methods, and quality control proceduresProficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentsExcellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skillsProven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high quality standards#J-18808-Ljbffr
