About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Assistant to join our team at Oasis Inspire Sdn Bhd, based in Taman Johor Jaya, Johor. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in the execution and delivery of our construction projects.

What you'll be doing

  • Assisting the Site Supervisor in the day-to-day management and oversight of construction activities
  • Coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
  • Monitoring and reporting on progress, quality and safety standards on site
  • Implementing project plans and schedules to keep projects on track
  • Identifying and resolving issues or challenges that arise during construction
  • Providing support to the site team, including supervision of workers
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Site Assistant or in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, methods, and materials
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure
  • Proficient in project management software and documentation
  • Demonstrated commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards
  • Possess a valid driving license and willing to travel as needed
